“… There are many voices in this world to be heard in the form of great orators and vocalist but very few have the ability to position you in the presence God where you encounter Him and not them. What a gift!” ~ Pastor Regina Johnson
During the past 20-plus years, God has allowed me to minister and serve as a worship leader, choir director, a speaker, studio vocalist and recording artist. He has also given me a desire to truly “go” into all the world and make disciples. Taking the Word of God into countries where less than 1% of their population are Christians is the compelling passion of my missions work.
I love what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 “4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.” This is my desire, that wherever I go and whenever I stand on a platform with a microphone in my hand, I don’t want people to think I am wise in my own words or simply talented in my music but I pray that they experience the manifest presence of God demonstrated before them, increasing their faith and changing their lives.
I have been blessed to have both lead a church music department and to have served as a faithful volunteer and lay-leader in the internationally known and loved Christ Church Choir. As a young Music Pastor, I was challenged to build and grow both a youth music department and the established adult music department. It was a blessing to work with both groups and also bring them together to love & learn from each other. After years of being “the one in charge”, it was my pleasure to serve in the Christ Church Choir and to lead the music & worship experience for the Women’s ministry department. There’s a special joy that comes when you are able to serve God through serving others…no need for a title or position, just saying “yes” to what God wants you to do. So, it has been a joy through the years to “lead” through serving! You can read my full bio on this website.
Thank you for considering me for ministry to your congregation or for your next event. My hope is that you see my desire to be used of God to minister in word and song, fully leaning and depending on the power and presence of God to accomplish His work.
Again, I am deeply honored that you would consider me and look forward to being with you for your service or event.
